Andrew joined Ransmeier & Spellman, PC as a member of its Litigation Group, where his practice focuses on civil litigation, with an emphasis on matters involving municipal and county liability and employment. He brings to the firm over ten years of experience as a trial attorney, having appeared regularly in State and Federal Courts. Andrew has tried many cases to verdict, as well as having resolved countless others through motions and mediation. Andrew spent over six years as Assistant Attorney General for the State of New Hampshire in the Civil Bureau where he represented the State and its agencies in civil litigation matters in both state and federal courts. He has extensive experience in dealing with cases brought under the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), as well as gender and race discrimination claims brought under Title VII. In addition to frequently appearing in the Unites States District Court in Concord, Andrew argued many cases in the New Hampshire Supreme Court as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, in Boston. A graduate of the Yale Law School, Andrew began his career as a criminal prosecutor in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office in New York City where he tried a number of misdemeanor and felony cases. In the community, Andrew resides in Sanbornton where he serves as Chairman of the Board of Selectmen for the Town of Sanbornton, and is an active member of St. Paul’s Church in Concord, where he sings in the choir.
