Privatization in the Water Industry
Prior to his retirement in July, 2007, Dom represented gas, electric, telephone and water utilities before the Public Utilities Commission and the NH Legislature for more than 25 years. Dom is well known within the halls of New Hampshire government consistently providing clients with the consultation and access they need to meet corporate objectives.
Born on June 25, 1941 in New Haven Connecticut, Dom now lives in the Town of Hopkinton, New Hampshire with his wife Angelyn, who teaches mathematics at a local private high school.
Before relocating to Hopkinton, Dom served as School District Moderator for the Town of Bow, New Hampshire for 24 years, has been President of the Bow Rotary Club and has served as chairman on a variety of Town Study Committees. Dom is the founder of the Bow Republican Committee, Chairman of the Merrimack County Republican Committee, and a member of the Executive Committee of the State Republican Committee. Dom serves on a civic education task force at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at St. Anselm’s College.
Dom is a past Trustee of the Derryfield School, New Hampshire’s only independent day school and President of the Smithfield Condominium Association.
Dom plays the piano and guitar, and also enjoys skiing, biking and golf. Dom is an avid hiker. He and his son have climbed all 48 peaks in New Hampshire’s White Mountains that are over 4000’.
